Appearance
The home page shows your numbers at a glance; the sidebar groups every page into stacks. Each person sees only what their plan and role allow.
Overview
After you sign in, Home opens. The sidebar on the left lists:
- Home, under your company's name (or, for MSPs, the client you are working in).
- My Stacks: one group per stack, in this order, each showing only the pages you may open.
- Resources: the shared Device library and Help guides.
- Configure: the lists behind equipment, such as statuses, types, locations and tag series.
- Administration: users, roles, settings and billing. Admins only.
A stack with no page you can open is left out, so nobody sees what they cannot use.
Requirements
- Role: any. The cards and links follow your role.
The stacks
| Stack | Pages |
|---|---|
| Assets | Add new, Search, View all, Unreturned, Warranty contracts |
| Documentation | Documentation, Change management, Files |
| Network | Racks, Subnets, VLANs, Circuits |
| Software and renewals | Renewals, Services, Software |
| People and access | Employees, Checklists |
| For MSPs | Clients |
See Assets, Documentation, Network, Software and renewals, People and access and For MSPs.
On a narrow screen the sidebar collapses to icons; the arrow at its foot expands it. On a phone, open it with the menu button at the top left.
The home page
- Number cards: Equipment, Assigned, Unreturned, Past end of life, Warranties ending in 90 days, and Services expiring in 30 days. Click View to open the list behind a number.
- Stack cards: one per stack, with its numbers, such as labels not printed, planned changes or open checklists. Click Open to go to the stack.
- Tasks: a to do list for the team (see below).
- Reaching end of life: equipment whose purchase date plus its type's lifetime is near or past. Lifetimes are set under Settings, Lifecycle (see Company settings).
Tasks
- Under Tasks, click Add task.
- Enter a Title, and optionally a Due date, who it is For (or Anyone) and Notes.
- Click Submit.
Mark a task Done from its row; Reopen brings it back. The Show filter switches between Mine and anyone's, open, Everyone's, open and Done. Overdue dates show in red.
Tasks need the Use tasks permission, which every built in role except Viewer has.
The top bar
- Search or scan a tag: find equipment by tag, serial or name. On a phone, the camera button reads a tag, serial or QR label (see Search and scan).
- Working in: for MSPs with clients, the client switcher (see Client switcher).
- The light and dark switch, on larger screens. Phones follow their own setting.
- Your name: Profile and security, Help and feedback and Sign out.
Notes
Note: During the free trial, Admins see Free trial active with the days remaining and a Choose a plan button at the top of the sidebar.
Note: Until you add a passkey or an authenticator app, Home shows Skip the emailed code next time. Click Set it up to do it now.
FAQ
Why do I not see the Network stack? Your role cannot see it. Ask an Admin.
Why are there no number cards on my home page? The cards need permission to see equipment. Without it, Home shows only your tasks.
