Questions about pricing
What counts as a piece of equipment?
Each laptop, desktop, phone, server, printer or other device with a record in TekStacks. Disposed equipment no longer counts. Solo includes 500; the other plans have no equipment limit.
What counts as a team member?
Someone on your team who signs in to TekStacks. Employees you track equipment for are not team members and are not limited. Deactivated team members do not count.
Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. The trial lasts 30 days with every feature of the plan you start on. Choose a plan any time during it; you are not charged until the trial ends.
What happens when the trial ends?
Without a plan the account is paused: nothing is lost, and choosing a plan unlocks it at once. After 90 days paused, the account and everything in it is deleted; you are emailed a week and a day before. While paused you can still download your records.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Pay monthly, or yearly for the price of ten months. Prices are in US dollars.
How do upgrades and downgrades work?
Upgrades take effect at once and you pay the prorated difference. A downgrade waits until you fit the smaller plan, for example its number of team members. Features the smaller plan lacks are hidden, not deleted, and come back if you upgrade.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from Billing. Your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, then the account is paused.
Can I get my data out?
Any time. An administrator can download every record as CSV files from Settings, Data export, on every plan and while paused.
Which plans include Microsoft sign in?
Team and up sign in with Microsoft Entra ID, with Entra groups deciding roles. Plus adds provisioning: Entra creates and turns off accounts and keeps your employee list in step with a group.
How is MSP priced?
A base price plus each team member, with every feature and clients kept separate. The rate per team member drops as your team grows, and every seat is billed at the rate for the total.
